Sand it down a bit, then silver anti-seize.
The silver kind always seemed the slickest to me.

Yes she was. Good eye.

Soooo... have any of you ever built a snow rake for cleaning off a roof? I have a feeling that a bunch of us will be building one today in my neighborhood. I ordered a Snow Joe, but the news says we're going to get hit again this weekend. So I might just build one.

Anyway, if you have, I am interested in your design.

Snow trucks are running here this morning, they're just pushing ice...bunches of it. That's different. Got a lot of it.

Kids are still up north at Shanty Creek skining/snowboarding having a blast. Storm didn't bother them a bit. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here , sent me a couple but can't post them.

That and also install it before installing the header. You can install in after but you bend it in the process...in places that will hamper seating in the block hole.
