It would have to be Dynatech or Kooks if I were to suffer that one again.. They use the right SS, if I recall it's 330. Aftermarket doesn't use it much anymore due to it's weldabilty. Those two were back in the beginning, well close enough and began that way with the auto makers.
Dynatech builds them for these trucks or use too, not sure anymore. Kooks builds them close, but you have to turn those a little to get them to fit. Want to say two primaries anyway.
BTW Good price on the Pacesetter if they are solid. First set 10 years , most of those the truck was in storage. Second set was less than 3 and the truck was a second vehicle , not used more 5 thousand miles.
Yeah, I posed links to some places to get the really gore and weird pics (other than just using Bing with safe search off) and then thought better of it.
Not like I thought anyone had a good opinion of me, I didn't want any evidence that could be found if needed at any future trial.

Forward thinking lol. Sounds like I most likely would of done the same noobs. I probably do that more than anyone..I use dots. If it means anything, you are a good part of this thread now, hope to see you here.
Got a leak in the wash bay/ garage. Spicket that's leaking is before the shut off to the house...yea, figures. Not sure why the PO did it that way, but that's what I have. Need to shut it off at the curb box. Glad it didn't have some old lock on it. However, the sleeve to the water valve key underground is 1" pipe. Well the key is 1 1/16. Hows it fitting in that pipe ? Guess I'll dig out the grinder, or cut the key off and weld another on there.
I could get a new key set up, all I need is the key. I'll see if I can get a pic.
A few years ago.... probably 15ish, my Dad was replacing his sprinkler shutoff every 3 or 4 years. I went over and talked him into building an all copper/brass manifold and shutoff. It's been fine since. Probably just jinxed my azz though, LOL. He's getting a little too old to be going down in a hole that deep.

That's how you jinx yourself lol.
Good Idea, there should be another shut off for that spicket besides just the curb box. Crazy stuff can happen when attempting to turn those lol. It's not really that bad though in the yard. The key from top of ground is only down 18". I can see it with a light shinning down the pipe, has a little dirt on it, but I can see the key...(the valve I mean, I need the curb box key to turn the valve). So it looks clean. I just have to modify the key to fit the pipe.
I wasn't going to put another shut off in at first, but I think maybe I should.,,,nows the time.
Put together the pipe this morning, out of galvanized, that's what everything else is down there. I think I'm going to split that in the middle and add a shut off valve to service the spicket next time.
You can see the key end here that's to wide all around. It might weaken the key too much grinding it down. Might just go with a a stronger design and chop that one all together.
