Dang man, I posted in the other thread lol

Moved it over, -

Haha, nah. I just did the 98 from the engine back. Attempted not to put too much into it.... the trucks mechanical sound but rusting bad. The new Y was most of the investment, even at half price it was still about 500. But it's a true 430 stainless steal Y just like factory original that fit perfectly.

I can give yuh the parts list if you want...the what and the where. Locating that Y at that price was the big thing.

Basically, stock manifolds, factory catted 2.5" Y.
3" Borla cat back.
Flowmaster 3" tail pipe kit.

EDIT: Some pics of the Y, before and after ceramic coating, -

Sounds like you found some nice shorties...14ga.. excellent!

Heck yes, a Parts list would be great and much appreciated. My cats have got to be coming up on End Of Life soon. I want to start fresh and never deal with big rust or corrosion again.

Which transmission do you have 4R100 or the 70

This is the one I purchased, It's for a 4R100 though.

Thanks. I have a 70 but it looks like they have one that fits mine as well.

Being mid-October, I didn't want to push my luck any longer so I just finished swapping my synthetic rope for the plow strap on the ATV winch while Duncan supervised.

It's so cool to be able to have him off lead with me around the property, now, and have him stay nearby. He's come a long way in his training.

Side note: i also learned that he can run at least 19 MPH. (He ran along with me up the driveway.) He might be faster, but I ran out of room.

EDIT: Holy moley! Dunc isn't a pure lab, but I guess this makes sense. At 14 MPH he was just galloping.

Looks like it does the job, White. Why did you have to make parts, though? It doesn't come complete?

Well Whitey, Blue is down near you now, so if you should see it, LOL. 17.85 mpg from Seattle to Phoenix area. That truck was always great on gas mileage.

It is made to do steel wheels. The duck bill makes it quicker and also protects the wheels.
