I'm trying out LibreOffice plus Thunderbird as an alternative to Office. So far not so bad but holy cow does Tbird take forever to configure!

I also laid out my stereo and cameras to bench test this weekend. I realized the radio didn't quite fit my needs so I returned it and am awaiting an upgrade to arrive.

 

COS - If you haven't checked it out, you can use Outlook web service for free: https://outlook.live.com/owa/
(You can also use the apps online, but I'd want offline capability for word processing, spreadsheets, and the like.)

 

If it's anything like the O365 online versions (I assume it is), it's pretty terrible - but good to know it's free. It may be better than using an entirely different package.

EDIT: I misread that. I never tried Outlook online for more than here-and-there stuff. I'll give it a look.
