67F is low for NC or VA this time of year. Lows are usually in the mid 70s. Highs in upper 90s. Only about a week or two of 90s all summer.
We have been in an unusually cool (for the south) and wet summer.. It looks like a green rain forest this year. I think we got all the drought water, There have been floods too.
I'm about 250 miles from Roanoke. Highway 460 goes by both.
This weekend is all wet and about 10F lower in highs lows are about 8F lower that average,
I talked to him last night... he was telling me how humid it is right now in VA. He's staying with his sister, and his Mom is in a care facility about 10 minutes from his sister's house. So he walked over there, and he was drenched. "Normal" Utah heat is much different, lol.

Sorry to hear that, and I'm glad she wasn't injured! Was anyone able to get a plate number or anything?
Glad she was for the most part, okay CO. Try to keep in mind, the year could of been much much worse....there's always that.
Well this the second time recently that the hammer on the starter trick worked for getting someone home. It's old trick, still works on newer rides. Got a Taco to fire up beating on it, I think it was a Camry.
Mention to your buddy with the tractor that you'll store it for him over there when he doesn't need it.......no charge.
I think it's kind of forcing you to cut the grade down some on both sides of the drive...you know, lower it enough to catch that water coming off the driveway crown. Blend the back slope in to the yard again. Not sure what else can be done that would actually work and look good.
If you were to accomplish that ^^^, re-seed ASAP with a mix called "Roadside". That stuff will grow on any type soil and do so quickly. That will stop the yard/driveway edges from washing out and slow flow.
I'd love to get the driveway crown above the sides, but that would probably take between 50 and 80 truckloads of material. It's a foot off in sime places. When they cut this in, it simply wasn't done right.
