Thinking
If it was the IT people, the below wouldn't stop them. It only stops the auto update and the constant reminder to update to 11.

You have 30 days to roll it back to 10. Go to:
Settings, Windows Update, Advanced Options, Recovery, then Previous Version of Windows
----------------------------------------------------------------
A lot of us don't want to go to 11 just yet. I actually may have to reinstall 10 on a PC that runs a piece of equipment. The guy that runs it decided to let it update, and now the software won't run after the recent Windows Updates. We'll see... but a lot of us don't know how it will act with software, licenses, etc. so we are holding off. I have 11 on a PC at home, and it seems to be geared towards gaming more than business.

I haven't tried yet, the biggest thing was the taskbar was at the lower middle, i finally figured out how to move it back to the left. Plus I'm a one man band at work this week, last thing i want to do is brick my PC
I liked 10 over 7 or 8.
I tried 11 a while back. I switched back.
in 11 live tiles are gone. I liked those.
Task bar and start menu moved but I don't care.
has a new widgets to replace live tiles (may be better, or not)
last time I checked it out it required a microsoft account or attachment to a business domain (that may only be a pro requirement)
Way more ads for crap and I don't know how to remove them if you must use a MS account.
In good news, you can (allegedly) run android apps safely on win 11.
Not really bad, They also just moved crap around for the heck of it. Somewhat frustrating but that seems to be every new numbered version. Win 10 has been the same for a long time so now I am very accustomed to it.
I mean stuff like Windows key + Shift + S still works the same way. So does most stuff.

I actually have grown to like 10 overall. It was a turd in the early stages, but they have drastically improved it. The only draw to 11 for me would be for android apps. I just happened to be looking for a PC for the garage to play music on, and found one that already had 11 on it , or I wouldn't have 11 at all. I actually have a NUC sitting on my desk here that has 11 on it, but I haven't dabbled around much with it in a business environment.
'glad to hear you enjoyed the functionality of this feature... be a shame if someone... MOVED IT.'
In the beginning of Windows 11, if you right clicked on a file, doc, etc. it did not say "Cut, Copy, Paste, etc". Instead you got icons, and it was a guessing game what one was which. I noticed that they've since changed that. I'm assuming that I was not the only person that found that less than handy.
