i agree. SMA is my go to channel.

 

Only thing I don't like about it is 1 7/8" hose. I say this because I have both the Ridgid 10' 1 7/8" orange commercial hose and the 2 1/2" black hose that come standard on Ridgid shop vacs. I like using the 1 7/8" commercial hose better but can't always use it because it plugs up too often with larger debris....such as wood chips and what not. Then you have shove a broom handle or something through it to clear it out. That's a Pita. That Dewalt should have 2 1/2" hose standard or at least have a 2 1/2" opening so you could use one on it....it has enough power.

 

I agree 100%, Brew. That was my main (only) hesitation in buying it. In fact, I didn't even open the box for about three weeks because I was still waffling. The old Craftsman was 2-1/2" and I had the same concerns. So far, the 1-7/8" hose hasn't been a problem, but I haven't had to suck up a bunch of big debris, either. I need to try and get mulch out of the rock around the planted landscape areas, and thought I'd try the vac. I can see that plugging it up in a hurry where I might not have been concerned with the larger hose.

On the ShopVac subject... I'm pretty sure the hose on mine was only 1.25" big. It was a bruiser for what it was. It really sucked...

I have an almost 20 year old ShopVac (it was a wedding gift), a little Craftsman, and a HD Homer Bucket vacuum I can use for now. Even though I am off tomorrow, I may go in to SL anyway to get some high build primer. I totally spaced it because I was on the phone when I left work. I was asked to put in a resume by another company today. So... we'll see.

 

Well, fuzzlenuts. I changed the cracked screen protector on my phone tonight, and it wasn't the only thing cracked. Fortunately, with a new screen protector, it's protected, usable, and should hold up OK, but dammit, I've only had the thing a few months.

 

I have to get a new phone for my daughter. Same thing... crack went right through her protector and got the screen.

I need to find something like an S8 or S9. She'll break it again, lol.

 

Are there fans of Rislone Fuel Treatment here ?

I notice a difference with that stuff in the tank.

 

I wish Motorola had continued the "Force" variant in the Z series. My Z2F was nearly indestructible. The only reason I gave up on it was the battery gave up the ghost, and the repair was going to be well more than the value. Now I'm re-thinking that decision. I moved to the Z4 so I could continue to use the Mods. Like the phone, but am ticked that the screen cracked already. The kicker? I have no idea how it happened.

 

pretty pleased, paid 4.16 for gas last night, granted it was E85 but still. Hand calculated im at 21.5 MPG. I can live with that, maybe the cylinder deactivation will actually save me fuel on the trip to SC in a few months. I still don't like it though
