I just finished mowing. I'm now sitting here on one of the landscape boulders, the sound of birds and frogs mixed with the smell of freshly-cut grass in the almost-still evening air. It's a pretty nice way to end a hectic day.

My Wife managed to kill my ShopVac today while I was at work. My guess is... she emptied it and forgot to put the filter back on, and it sucked up a rock. Kaboom. But, she doesn't know what happened. All I know is, it showed no signs of dying, so I thought it would never get replaced. But... here we are. Looking for a new ShopVac
Turbos are where it's at, up here. I'll take fewer cylinder + turbo over NA any day of the week. I'd have an EB pickup if they weren't so outrageously expensive.
In Europe where there's winding mountain roads, Variations from Sea level to roughly 3000 m elevations...
It is all 4 cyl. Turbo diesel over there. Their trucks do the job nicely !
By North American standards they are considered 1/4 ton to light half ton pick up trucks (in body size).
Nothing bigger than a 6 cylinder there.
sounds like they know what they're doing.
