Sounds fun, They might let the 89 show, you should inquire.

Yeah, he puts the hood up there all the time for shows. The All Ford show it got a little windy, so he put it back on though.

EDIT: Just noticed that pic was from 2019.... he has clear/smoked headlights on it now. Looks better. That was just the first pic I found with the trailer.

Just FB stalked Matt's page. He is friends with the author of the Youtube book that I bought, and also friends with the infamous Gumby from the Velocity channel's "Kings of Crash". I have actually timed a couple of derby's for Gumby.

If I recall, Matt and his son enter that competition as well....or one like it. I seem to remember them building their own cars in a past episode.

Yes they do.... good call. Everything I've seen Matt drive in the derby's has been a truck. Derby's are actually how Matt and Paul met. Paul goes over it a bit in this episode:

There are a lot of guys from surrounding states that say Utah derby's are unparalleled. I don't know any different, so I don't have anything to compare it to.... but I know they are damn fun. My brother is friends with Gumby's brother, so that's how I got invited to help time vehicles. Somewhere I have a shirt he gave me... think it says Stirrin' Dirt Racing, IIRC. I am about 90% sure that I saw Matt in a derby in Delta, UT about 15 years ago. The reason I am pretty sure is.... I went to school with a Pat Wetzel, and I thought they were saying his name at first. I think Matt was (or is?) also putting on derby's down in the southern parts of the state.

Yea, looks like they're into derby's more than I thought. Pauls been in Matts vids more than once with that Taco of his lol.

That vid was interesting to watch. Paul knocking Matt out in that one Derby....mann he hit him hard. Wonder if he even seen him coming lol.

The stuff that Paul's Dad built is pretty impressive. My FIL had quite a few contraptions he made as well...

One thing Paul didn't mention is, he is also a member of their volunteer fire department. I think that's pretty sweet.
