I've been tasked to try and find my Dad's old 69 Camaro. Literally nothing to go off of... no VIN, no plate, and the state has changed systems a few times.
So, now I'm trying to find a 69 Camaro for a project.
What do you know about it ?
Found this 69 RS/SS 396 4-speed early this spring.
It's getting restored and the supercharged 383 stroker pulled and the 396 going back in.
Lots of work since someone made it into a race car.
No rust, but a bunch of holes from the cage and truck mounted fuel cell and battery.
Next project on deck after the Vette.
I really don't care for orange and the Vette is orange too. lol
It was originally Ermine White, then pale yellow, then this stunning orange.
If the rain holds off tomorrow, we might take the Vette and the challenger to the Packard Proving Grounds car show.
It's a weekly cruise in at the original site, it has been restored and is a Historical place.

I know it was a 307 with a Powerglide. And, oh my goodness Phil, I just started going through some more pics I have of it..... low and behold, I found two that the plate is actually showing!!! I have a plate number now!!
He bought it new.... I think he told me he paid 3200 for it.
That video is way too long for the information in it.
13 min video, 5 minutes info.
8 minutes in before we see what he is speaking of, Dam dude, get to the point. How much life do I have left?
He is totally right. Driver in Mercury is totally wrong and should have pulled over.
Is there some reason to have a longer Youtube video than needed or do some just like to hear themselves talk in circles and repeat themselves a bunch?
I even went and looked at the referenced video and that guy just beats around the bush, keeps repeating stuff, just seems like he is getting paid per word. He coulda been done in half the time and still said all he wanted.
Good on you White, Your videos may have a minute or two explaining some stuff, but then you get on to what you are showing. They aren't talk-athons.

Speaking of falling trees... some shady looking dude pulled up next door yesterday. He was in a beat to **** 1st gen Crown Vic... so I was keeping my eye on the situation. Anyway... dude gets out of the car with a clipboard. He was there to estimate pulling that tree out! I guess my silly azz going over there worked.
EDIT: I mean the first gen of the Panther platform.....

This is why I almost never even bother clicking the link to a youtube clip.
Just walked down to my neighbors to check out his 62 Vette.
He got hit pulling out of his driveway the other morning.
Took the nose completely off the car but missed the frame rail and wheel.
Just nicked the radiator.
It looks like the core support is bent also.
