I'm a HUGE Chemical Guys fan. I'm hoping that I'm happy with their clay bar system... I've got a couple cars needing it, including the White Horse.

BTW, we officially toppled 900" of snowfall.

In DeWalt naming convention a B on the end means it is sold as a Bare tool without battery or charger. The tool itself is exactly the same.

I believe it was you that used a "paint on" method. If so, can you explain how well it worked for you? I have brake parts that I'd like to derustify and I don't want to soak them, necessarily.
I think that was me. The key is to get a rag you don't need anymore and soak that in the solution. Apply the solution to the part and then wrap the part in the rag. Use zipties or whatever works to keep the rag as tight as possible to the part. Re-wet the rag occasionally. This is not as effective as soaking but still gets the job done.

Thank you for all if that info Buck0. That's all good to know. I'm guessing a few of mine have a B on them.

I spent my night making a spring installer for AOD's, and maybe the 4R70/75. I really need to take a sumbitc4in welding class. I always get better at the end of the project, and when it's a small project, it looks like butt.

Said spring installer... and I did confirm, it also works on 4R70W's. Pretty sure it's to install/uninstall the accumulator spring. I'll be using this tool first hand pretty soon. He's got an AOD he wants me to rebuild as he teaches me.
