I got the left side part waiting on me at the auto parts store!- the right side bumped up the floor a bit, but it went right back down- all good so far!

Well guys I found my dead wire. Disconnected it from everything, ran a fused wire to my pos. battery terminal, and my hard set p1633 code has disappeared. No SES light for the first time since I've owned the truck!

Thank you sir. I looked all over and under for that 5 amp fuse but couldn't find it anywhere. So it still may very well be the culprit.

Dang, sounds like you some of you guys have been dealing with the not so ordinary life experiences...truck and personal. Except drillrig, he conquered one that's inevitable with these old trucks. One that I've been able to avoid thus far, but plagues my mind a bit...I know it's coming lol.

Jp, -that was a different problem with the PCM. Haven't heard of it until reading just now. Difficult to narrow down I expect.

Bear, sounds like recouping has been rather difficult or prolonged. As I know a few including my mother who's had both knees replaced (one at a time of course and years apart). Recouped quickly and very much reaping the benefits each and every day now. That was closest experience I had with it, another was a friend of the family and that went well too. Anyway, it's gets better, to the point you won't even notice or have any issues. Has to be one of the most successful procedures offered for those who have spent the majority of their life on the their feet!

Taking a relaxing break (well sort of), building custom closet shelving, bins and dividers out of beach for the parents place. Step father has 75 brim hats and would like access to them all in the closet by the front door. Mother is getting fed up with so many hats. This plan was devised so that they may co-exist without this ever growing issue. He is still going to have to stack them, can't get around that lol.

Wow. Miss a day or two and look what happens. lol

JP....good job buddy. Glad you got it fixed.

Bear....what is next? You and the truck are falling apart. lol

Oh, and yes my romance is proceeding quite nicely. Thank you. Matter of fact, she will be here, from Fairbanks, in less than 5 hours. She's coming down to spend the next 5 days with lil old me. She's also due to be here March 31st to April 9th, so us going traveling might be a big item then. If we get rid of the snow melt in time, I may have to dig out the motorhome and go camping for a few days. Anyways you look at it, we'll go do something and have some fun. It's so strange how well we get along together in every possible way. The only difference, I like coke, she likes pepsi. lol

Brew....enough hats? Wow. No wonder she's unhappy. lol. You are the good son. You fix them up, just to keep the peace in the family. Thumbs up to you.

There isn't one thread I posted in on page one (besides the stickies threads and this one). That's different, so I thought I would share.

Been assisting 4 sometimes 5 users through PM's. Taking some time, they should of just posted a new thread. Oh well.

Yeh it has plagued me for a good while now. So after tearing open all the wiring I finally found the problem or at least by passed it. Lol

Sounds like your relationship is going well AK! Still frolicking through meadows of butterfly's and all that. Me, I'm getting tired of it. Sides, she's the type that would gag on the butterflies I expect. Frolicking through store #5 (ArtVan I think), I fell into a sink hole because my eyes were pegged to the bottom of my forehead. Getting tired of the Material Girl since I'm the opposite. I like it very simple, away from it all and being in the wild. That wild would be true nature vs man made. It's a difference that's getting in the way, for me anyway. Other than that it's good, but more and more I'm looking for that illuminated in red emergency exit sign. Not a comfy feeling and searching for ways to get use to it. Not doing so well with that at the moment.

Camping is always cool, do it!

Thanks! I think we all do what we can for family and friends when possible. Parents, immediate family are at the top of the list. It's a feel good relaxer for me. What sucks is, I think they know this...I'm first on the speed dial.

Brew....Damn buddy, I know that unfamiliar feeling of wanting to be with someone but not being in tune that person's ideas. It's damn hard to change when you get to 50, even earlier, so I'd be hard pressed also if I was in your shoes. Time will tell buddy. If you want it seriously enough it will work out, but if you have doubts so will she.

I made a comment today and I'm paying for it now. I was joking about the distance between her and I, when out of my mouth I popped off, "If your sorry *** was here right now you wouldn't be griping." I've heard the "sorry ***" line since noon in each conversation we've had. And believe me, it's been a couple. It's all in fun, but she can take me to that almost break point. She knows it and I think that is why we get along. I do that to her also. It seems to be working. Like I said, only time will tell. So far I haven't crashed and burned. lol
