Last yr it smelled like gas after a new gas tank/fuel pump install, and badly done Aftermarket cats, not so much now.
Just notice slight exhaust fumes at traffic lights while waiting idle. Could be other cars...
Still I think the work I did last yr with these cheap Aftermarket cats are not up to standard.

100 cell cat = less restriction ----> Better throttle response.
Better sound too.

I'll give you the sound, but the throttle response being (seeming) better is likely your butt dyno lying to you.

I inhale exhaust fumes that are pretty much straight fuel coming out of the exhaust fairly frequent. My 89 has 24 lb. Injectors that it most certainly doesn't NEED. But, it still gets 27 mpg on the freeway.

I guess 200 Cell Count Cat's are good enough then.
B.t..w
Yonaka is out of stock on their 2.5" Cat's (100 Cell count)
Racing Fanatics scooping up all the good stuff from their inventory.

Ohio, do you think these aftermarket Cat's do a decent job at neutralizing harmful exhaust fumes ?
how much precious metals would a cheap product like these have ? be it 100 or 200 cell count...
I imagine not much.

Hard to say how good they are without test data, but they're probably better than not having them at all.

That's how Rory rolls.... literally.

I am going down a rabbit hole today. I started out by trying to see if some of the "use LED headlights without blinding people" how to's would work for my situation (I won't use them if I can't figure something out). So, I get it all plugged in, etc. and turn on the headlight switch. Nothing! The brand new battery didn't even have a full one volt... it was point nine. So, I took out the battery and noticed how dirty the battery tray was. Cool.... I'll just pull this out and clean it, I say to myself. I then remembered that a previous battery had leaked and ate away some of the paint under the battery tray. Over time this has turned into some slight surface rust. I can't have that! So, I search through my stash and find my POR15 kit. I went to O'Reilly and got a couple cans of Oxford White and some primer. I am just sitting here now watching POR15 dry.

I see that my harness needs the harness tape replaced. I'm out of Tesa tape. Great! Nobody on this side of the mountain has any in stock. Might hafta drive to SLC or see if Amazon can help.

When I pull the motor, I'll make this thing look sharp under the hood.
