It's supposed to hit 70 next Saturday, lol. So, it won't be around long. I wish I would have put down some fertilizer yesterday. It's time to do the spring step of the stuff that I use.
EDIT: This happened in my neighborhood early this morning. Great.
I test fitted the drivers side Motorsport valve cover today to test for rocker arm clearance. Amazingly, they do not make contact with the baffles. It's been fun trying to find valve cover gaskets to work with these. I didn't realize that Ford changed them ever-so-slightly in 1986. Also... I'm not thrilled with the oil cap. I need to rectify that somehow.
It's a fertilizer that is formulated specifically for Utah. It's made by IFA.... I'm not sure if they exist anywhere outside UT, LOL. They are kind of like a Tractor Supply, but with more plants, etc.
Thank you. I can't believe how dusty it is under the hood. I'm guessing it's Bondo dust from sanding Frankie next to it. Also waiting on some Mother's mag polish to show up so I can polish them up. Somehow I need to get the intake to match better.

A sprinkler system takes most of the work out of keeping a nice lawn. You can grow nice thick grass on sand with one..... Well, as long as it's not sugar sand. You're mostly sand and rock out there aren't yuh ?
A Bondo is sandstorm gets in all the cracks. A couple big fans and good cross ventilation in the garage makes a huge difference.
Yes, I have a pretty decent sprinkler system. I also installed one of the B-Hyve controllers, so that helps with keeping water consumption to a minimum with automatically knowing when there is wind or rain. It doesn't run them in those conditions. We are actually closer to a dirt/clay/rock combo where I am at. Most of Salt Lake is as well. Not too far from here (west) though, there is a lot of desert sand. In this MORR video, it shows a lot of how our terrain is in this valley and in the mountains.
That red primer is red oxide/zinc chromate....might be a phosphate formulation as well. Top of the line in rust protection. From sky scrapers to automotive, it used pretty much on all steel exposed to the environment.
