I'll need to go back and see what gas station they went to. If it's Maverik, I gotta say - it's some of the best gas station food you'll find. The bacon breakfast burritos are killer.

Maverik started in UT, but I've seen them in ID, WY, CO, NV, and I think my Buddy says they're down in Albuquerque as well.

EDIT: Nah... they went to Beto's. That place sucks... insta-*****. I don't eat there anymore just for that reason, lol.

Woke to 3-4" of snow this morning, quite a bit more than a dusting as predicted. Heavy stuff...wet. I think it surprised a few, no plows this morning, rutted slushy mess out there. No plows running in town anyway...not yet. At 30* f

It showed - 2°F on the thermometer here this morning. We've had no snow yet to speak of, just a recent dusting before the wind storm. I checked the garage before bed last night, and it was 39° inside. I thought I'd have to warm it up with the heater this AM, but it had only dropped 4°.

Since we didn't put up the tree inside this year (Duncan) , I figured I'd put a few... OK... eleven outside instead.

I think I got gas at a Maverick station in/near Denver last month, and the fuel price was something like $.40 below all the others.
Back in Ohio, we have Sheetz. It isn't gas station with a restaurant/convenience store, it's a restaurant/convenience store that also happens to sell fuel.

Gave my two stage Craftsman snow blower to my friend up the street today.... and inserted a new (to me) Troy Bilt snow blower into the family. My Dad got a new battery powered blower, and gave me this old Troy Bilt of his. Runs like a raped ape, but it needed some massaging. Needed a belt, a few bolts were missing, and I ordered a new clutch cable and scraper for it.

When I got it, it had somehow been knocked down, and sitting on the handle. As a result, oil filled the carb and combustion chamber. So I've spent a good deal of time cleaning that all out.

This one is small, but MIGHTY. It's my little Toro Power Clear 18 inch. Best snow blower I've ever owned.

I had one of those little Toros for awhile. Found it out for the trash on my way home, talked to the homeowner, and tossed it in the trunk. After some Gumout, fresh fuel, ad a squirt or two of starting fluid, it fired right up. Sold it when we moved out into the country and had a 300+ foot driveway.
