I sure get fascinated by this guys work. Makes me a little less scared to pull the trigger on body work. I'll be watching a lot over the winter.... lol. Brew, if you want to sell your patch panels, let me know
Damn... I need to look at that Eternabond stuff a little deeper. I've been using Quickroof for years now, and from my research, the Eternabond will outlast it.
BTW, if you guys don't know, Quickroof is a MUCH cheaper solution to Dynamat.

I've heard Eternabond will last 18-35 years. The product itself carries a 10 year warranty. That's with proper installation.
I've had some fail on the slide-out roof. It failed around the screw heads and both corners. This was factory error, - the screw heads had sharp slivers of metal sticking up from torquing down, - the corners were very rough and rigid. Yea, it came apart in both areas.
Most of it peeled up. A section of it did not, it would of damaged the membrane attempting so. Turned out okay, smoothed the rough edges and screws with a palm sander and reapplied the tape. It takes quite a bit of pressure to get it down right where the roller can't reach it and over obstacles. That's has to be done with fingers and/or anything you may have lying around that fits a crease or transition your attempting to seal. It should be pressed in everywhere, ...no bubbles or gaps. Then it will most likley last.

You want that stuff white? I was thinking about tossing all that in the back of the truck. I'll hang onto them if you want.
You want the Volant system as well. The air box is like new, I used it for a very short time because I couldn't find dry media for it at the time. You can now. I'll need to swap it with a factory set up though, I don't have one.
What I have, -
New and primed
98 Pass side full rocker/cab corner
98 Drivers side rocker (no nose piece available for 98)/full cab corner (all the way up to the body molding)
99 Drivers side full rocker/cab corner (you'll need the nose piece from this one and fit it to the 98....the rest is just extra)
That is some great info, Brew. Quick Roof has all lasted for me so far, but you never know!! I always like options, and that one is very intriguing.
Sooooo.... I think I have a game changer lined up for finishing Frankie. I haven't seen it yet, but my Buddy has a MAC flange tool. I envision it being like this below. It's probably an older model because he told me he bought it from a friend of ours that was a MAC driver - and that friend passed away in 2012.

Hell yeah. I'd use that for sure. Next year that truck gets some love. I need to also do the core support before it's too far gone. Would have done it this year, but a damn swimming pool sat in the spot where I'd need to do it all. Let me know what you need for them.
