Looking at that Fairmont made me wonder if the door from a fox body Mustang would fit right on there. They are both the same basic chassis underneath.
Crapmaro is funny. I usually go with Scumaro.
They aren't a direct fit, BUT, the body lines are almost identical, allowing you to use a Mustang front clip.
This guy did some body work to the lines (where the molding goes on a Mustang fender) between the door and wheel.
This is how it would have looked before bodywork was done to make it match.
Mornin' Bear.... as soon as the bell rings, I gotta rush home, ship out some ebay stuffs I sold, then get back home to get the 89 ready for a show at UMC tomorrow.
I thought you guys might get a kick out of this one... this girl races a GT500 with her Camaro. It really starts at 8:00 though.
I have a question for you in the thread you replied to with the filter wrenches you bought off Amazon.
There are two options on Amazon. I saw you bought the 93 mm x 15 mm model....
What if I buy a 93 mm wrench attachment ?? is it the right one ?
I can go to a store near me and pick up a model that states "93 mm"
I ask because the Amazon page you gave a link that also indicated a 93 mm x 36 mm option

Yeah, I took a closer look. The measurements are in mm for the first spec.
The 15 & 36 indicates the number of flutes. The 93 is for mm
Motocraft filter needs 15 flutes
The Motorcraft has more flutes than 15.... must be the 36.
I seriously use whichever I can find the best deal on between Wix or Motorcraft. I think it has a Wix on it right now... can't remember what I used last, LOL.
