I looked at wheel and airbag again, and I think it may be more a difference in gloss than one of color as @COStruck mentioned, but I'm going to leave things as-is until I hear from LMR. Worst case, I'll probably live with it, because the spokes may be wear areas, and I don't know if I'd trust the finish to stay intact.
During test-fitting I also found that the rear cover doesn't fit tightly to the bottom spokes. It's in the back and won't be visible unless I park with the wheel turned 180° (and even that's a "maybe"), but i'm going to question them on this, too.
Yeah, that's a poor fitment. I hate when people only get it 80% right on things like this. Do they really think "close enough" is going to cut it for the kind of person that would restore a friggin' steering wheel?
When I ordered my Mustang, it came in with a little cut in the driver's seatback. The dealer tried to fix it with one of those ****ty leather repair kits and it looked like garbage. Ford fought and fought not replacing the leather - on my brand new, custom-ordered Mustang - for months before finally relenting and fixing it right. I hope you have better luck with LMR than I did with Ford.
Anyone here know how Chevron sells their gas in BC, Canada ?
The nearest Chevron refinery to the Canadian border, is Utah.
Is Chevron transporting gas all that way to get into Canada or do they buy gas from Canadian refineries and just add the "techron" in it ?
No idea but I do know that at least some portion of Chevron gas is sourced in Venezuela.

I'd accept this if it was a $100 eBay special, but not for this.

I fought with the dealer for months about a replacement engine for my F150 (story in in my sig-linked thread) all while driving their free loaner. Good on you for sticking to your guns, especially on a brand new vehicle. That was BS.
I doubt a new wheel would be any better, because I'm sure it's a poor mold. If that's the case, I'll accept a discount to deal with it.
