Good morning, everybody!

White, it's not even slated to *make* it to 83° here today. I feel for you folks out there! This is now. Definitely not complaining.

Getting the car hauler back into shape continued over the weekend with replacing part of one board, screwing some others down, then power-washing and staining the deck. The wood is still pretty rough, but hopefully this will help it last a bit longer. (It really sucked it in. That's nearly a gallon of Cabot oil-base stain over only about 125 sq. ft.)

I started the LED lighting upgrade last night. The rear lights were literally plug-and-play, both mounting and connector-wise. I'm not sure I like the side markers I picked up, though, so I'm re-thinking those.

Heck yes. Best part? I got crappy cell reception at my house before I got my 2nd dose. Now I get perfect 5g anywhere through my vaccine microchip.

43F dew point !! I would love some air you can't see right now.

But, then again, spring, autumn, and winter is usually pretty nice around here. Maybe 2 snows a year of an inch or two each time.
I guess three great seasons and one that sucks is a good tradeoff.

Our air is filled with smoke from the fires in Oregon and California.

I took this picture over at Utah Motorsports Campus on Saturday, the morning it started really rolling in. It's a lot worse now.

I would rather have water vapor messing up my air than smoke. So for now you win for the worst air. Looks like Ohio wins for best air.

Those trailer pics made me go look at my trailer. Dammit, now I got another project.

Does anyone know if there is a ForScan equal for GM cars? One of my kids just bought (against my advice) a used Chevy Traverse. I know something will come up that will require in depth troubleshooting in the future so I might as well get stuff together.

None that I know of. We are pretty fortunate for ForScan.

Why do they do that ? My daughter purchased a G6 about 7 years ago, against my recommendation, it was a pretty good car until the head gasket went at 160,000. Got lucky I guess, she took care of the coolant and oil changes. Didn't need anything special diagnostic wise. Replaced the AC, starter, battery ALT, had coolant issues in the end. Fought with those before the gasket finally went. With the rust developing, wasn't worth saving. She listened to my advice this time and purchased an Edge. If anything goes wrong with that one, I won't hear the end of it.

Not sure about ForScan. I'm sure someone else will know.
