Where I live, there is usually a show in the VASA parking lot on Fridays, and then one in the Cal Ranch / O'Reilly parking lot every Saturday. Haven't heard of it starting yet though.

Really , every Friday, during the summer?
I guess what I was attempting to say is (looks like I left out a few words in the last one), - Utah probably rates way up there as one of this nations hot spots. Always something fun going on not too far away.

Literally every Friday, yep. I never go to the VASA Fridays though... Just Cal Ranch. Otherwise I'll go to SLC for shows. Here's Frankie's first one, LOL.

And then the garage queen, lol.

Too bad it was so far away, that would of been neat to go and hang out. I use to do 300 mile road trips frequently see my Grand parents, Dad and family up north all the time not too long ago....before they passed away. That's about my max tho, hate traveling that far by vehicle. This would of been worth it.

Thanks for posting white!

Going to try harder to renew my license again next week. They say you have about a 1 hour window to get through twice a day....8am and 12pm.

I haven't been able to get through. Hell , I need another hair cut now.

This reminds me when I was kid trying to be caller number 10 to my favorite radio station lol.

Discovered some great Jerky to wedge into my diet plan this morning. High in protein, zero sugar and tastes like the real deal. Good substitute for Oreo's and Twizzler's.

Beginning to have a little fun with this stuff.....haha, -not!

Well.... tried the new welder. I was trying to get the settings right and a stray piece o' splatter went right through my shoe and landed between my middle toe and the "ring?" toe. Holy crap that is uncomfortable. Decided to put her away after that, lol. The foot throbs when I stand.

Not a fan of the wire that came with it. Tried to throw my INE in it, which is .035 wire. This came with two tips, so I thought at least one of them would be .035, but nope... both tips are .030 tips. So I got stuck using the stuff it came with.

I plan to skip down to the St.George/Hurricane area at some point and would love to stop in and grab a hat. If I go to LS Fest, they are on the way.

Have to say, haven't heard of anyone wearing a ring on their middle toe....yet...is that a Utah thing ?

You should wear the Redwings for welding....noob lol. Glob on some Neosporen and tape I up.

I'm sure I suggested which wire to use for flux-core a few times already, - not kidding, it's night and day.

A quicker way to learn your settings is to adjust them while your welding., - and just listen for that bacon sound. Don't let off the torch, keep welding away as you adjust. You'll get the hang of it a lot quicker, - that's a pretty big thing, you have to work that out or you'll have a really tough time getting that down when further away from the welder. Know what I mean ?

Oh, and cover your forearms if you not using the full heavy welding gloves. If you splatter your forearms, infection sets in too quick. You don't want that problem, takes forever for it to heal and spreads.
