In the 20's here....

We'll snap out of it Sunday, - w/70's

 

It's 54° and sunny today, with sunshine and mid-60's forecast through the weekend here (and mid-70's in the Springs). Unfortunately, part of the driveway is a mudhole due to the snow melt at the moment. Don't know if it'll dry out in time for a 2021 inaugural cruise, or not.

In the meantime, I took a mental-health half-day yesterday and went into the Springs with a buddy to pick up my laundry-room counter tops, then went to a park for lunch. I made him ride in the back seat, but he didn't seem to mind.

 

It's 61 outside right now... no snow to be seen. The rain last weekend washed the salt off the roads.... it's GO time tomorrow!

Got invited to a car show on Saturday, but it's 77 miles away. Not too sure I want to go that far.

 

Same show Matt's bringing the Corvair too ? Pretty sure it's this Saturday.

That would make it cooler.

 

I think that show was yesterday.... about 275 miles from me. He posted this yesterday morning.

 

Huh, check out that vid I posted earlier. I know he said Saturday for sure....absolutely sure. I'm just not totally positive it's this Saturday....pretty sure it was though.

Maybe they changed their minds, or are going both days , - maybe both events?

Yep, you're right Brew. Got my wires crossed on that. Usually Easter weekends shows and sand adventures in UT are out at Little Sahara, which is much closer to me. I actually could probably go out there with my Buddy too if I wanted.... but I don't have my own rig.



EDIT: Check this out... like I eluded to above, it's a BIG deal on Easter weekend.

 

Well... I forgot the Jeep Safari in Moab is also an Easter weekend deal.... I think that's the weekend m Buddy tipped his XJ on its side in Moab. Need to ask him. Do you want to see a pucker moment? Go to 6:03

BTW, these guys have been on an episode or two on Matt's channel.

 

Yea , that's Lite Brite Nation, - Kevin in the jeep, Brittney is usually doing the filming for their channel. I'm trying to recall what they did with Matt , I remember now, - they had a flexing competition, - between Matts XJ (the banana) and their Jeep.. Anyway, those rock crawlers get in pretty hairy situations at times.

"Bleeping Jeep" are also a Matt ORR fan, - whom are also LBN fans. So, Matt has a celebrity status now lol.

I guess it's better not to ask anyone in Utah where the Car show is, - who knows where you might end. There's party's everywhere this time of year lol.
