Interesting question if you want really want to dig in to it. Universal Pictures put out both movies so there's no problem regardless of actual accuracy to Shelly's novel. Today though, Universal, which owns the rights to their copyrighted story, would sue and prevent any other studio from putting out a picture like Frankenstein's Bride without the proper royalties going to Universal unless they remake the Frankenstein look. And yes, I looked this up because I had no idea. BTW, the title of the novel was "Frankenstein's Monster." None of this has anything to do with what I posted though which was about an argument I had with my father when I was 6 and a comic book. Whatever floats your boat.
