Well Blue finally got washed today after 2 winters. He cleaned up well. I even tried Shine Amour on him.
Blue cleans up nice, AK! Mine's been washed, but not waxed since I bought it. It's time. I was appalled this weekend when I went to install the NMO antenna mount in the roof this weekend. It looked like it was painted with satin gray Rustoleum.
I hit it with my rotary buffer and some compound, then wax, and it shined up a bit. I'm afraid the acid rain spots (and hail dents) will be a permanent fixture, though.
Of course now there are sling-off spittle dots all over the rest of the truck that I need to deal with.
AK may have already seen this, but I rearranged my "garage art" today, and added some stuff I got from the Carroll Shelby Museum. I have an Alaska license plate, and another sign designating just whose garage this is (mine). that need to go up. Ohhh.... also put up my "Counts Kustoms" license plate. I wish I woulda been in Vegas on Tuesday, because they asked me if I wanted to meet Danny - because the cast was going to do a meet and greet. I remembered that tonight when I was digging through my wallet and found the business card they gave me.... LOL.
