haha yep Highboy is all tucked in for a month or two. That was Friday night and last night as I climbed up the back to get our little one out of the car seat, that’s when the step bar decided to give up. Thankfully I hadn’t gotten her out of the seat yet and it was a slow fall.

here are some pics of the storage unit. Fits just fine inside but the door had about a pencil width of clearance from the cab lights

I had a chance to get a 74 HB for 1200, but it was going to be a rough undertaking. Guy wasn't sure if it'd turn over... And the bed was absolutely a total loss.

Yeah thats too many issues for a pretty "common" truck. Sellers argue they are rare lol but people love the dentsides so theres plenty of them out there. It only gets rare or hard to find when you get super picky on the small differences in the trucks lol. If you ever pick one up let me know as ive got a ton of extra parts just sitting around.

Yeah that was my plan B LOL. The maintenance guy measure 80" and I measure 78" to the top of the lights so I knew it would be close. Air out of the tires was plan B, plan c was to park it at the inlaws house till I found a house... good thing plan A worked.

If anyone wants to see some short clips of the interstate with Indiana cornfields and a nice sunset from the inside of a highboy, heres a quick 2minute video.

Is it just me or do most people, when they have a truck load of extra parts, never have the part you need or want at that time? Seems like that happens more often than not in my collections, lol

When gas becomes too high to drive, there will still be a dentside on the road somewhere.

Trying to get a guy to sell me an E303 cam, but it's like pulling teeth, LOL. Ohio, you don't happen to have a cam laying around, do you?
