I loved how Matt basically told the white SUV guy "you already eff'd it all up, and I'm not responsible if it gets worse". I'd love to see a video of how the hell that got there.

I already had the flame sensor take a poo on my furnace. Got a guy fixing my fridge and dishwasher soon (home warranty). I always do the math... if I think it will cost more than a service call (70 dollars), I call them and use the warranty. But this flame sensor was like 10 dollars. No brainer.

Yeah... 10 dollars, just checked. I bought two, lol.

LOL ...Matt.

Yea, you can either test those with meter, if it has micro amps or the redneck way, - clamp the wire to a screwdriver and position it into the flame lol.

Guess when it comes to heating I've been lucky. No problems at all.

Fuel level Check

Flame Sensor:

I haven't had a heater failure since.... .. .. ever.
I also have that air conditioner reverse thing for a backup.

Excellent way to heat! I like your style.
________

Air conditioner w/reversing valve.. air/ heat pump combo ? I've heard of those, but thought they were just a travel trailer thing.

It's a heat pump.
Just about every house built around here has one.
It rarely gets cold enough for it to use the heat strips but when it does the electric meter readout is like looking at the $ readout on a gas pump.
Firewood is usually cheap around here if you can pick it up at the mill. Wood is also a nice hot heat.

Saw this today. Looked pretty clean especially being in the rust belt.

Also anyone have opinions on ATP exhaust manifolds? About the only set i can find new for the highboy. Dorman makes a set that are out of stock. Summit has ATP that they can order. (hopefully)

Someone doesn't take that lightning out in the rain, that's for sure.

I only used ATP manifolds on a V6 in an explorer some years ago. They fit fine and lasted several years. Car was lost in a wreck, not a manifold failure.

ATP is a quality brand, known more for Flexplates and Flywheels. I wouldn't hesitate to go with their brand personally

I have a little fuel in reserve as well, but we have a gas furnace as primary heat, so the wood stove is just for taking the morning chill off, ambiance, or auxiliary/emergency heat.

How the hell does the wood stay good uncovered like that? Down here it would be rotten in a season.
