Ahah! The xMPH is simply because if you drive too fast, it won't calibrate correctly. The thing has no idea how fast you're actually going. If you need/want an auto-dimming mirror without the compass, send me a PM. I might have one here.

EDIT: And yes, the sensor mounted up front behind the grille is needed as input to the module.

I’ve already bought a new one off EBAY. Thanks though Ohio. Does anyone know if the speed sensor will affect the ambient temp sensor?

They are not signaled together, so they won't interfere with each other.

So what is the point of having it? Seems kind of counter productive to have it there and do nothing. Nevertheless thank you gentleman. I will release my expedition overhead console thread in the next few weeks. Complete with oil pressure, water temp, and trans temp gauge, LED lights. And everything needed for the swap.

You didn't say you were doing a swap. Some Expy overhead consoles showed data like l MPG, DTE, etc. from the PCM. I believe there was also a VSS input so the temp display would update more slowly if the vehicle was not moving to minimize false temp rise at stoplights, for instance.

that’s the 2 button display. They made a single button display which is what I decided to go with for ease of wiring. F-150s are a 6 pin where as expeditions are a 12. That includes the roof opening switches, and the fuel tank stuff to make MPG and MTE work properly. I decided to opt out. I’ll attach a picture of all 3 displays. F150, single button expedition and double button expedition. Many different models but this one will swap with 5 correct pins.

All 3 together

F150 and single button expedition mother boards. No difference except for the angle of the display LCD itself

This last Windows 10 update and Malwarbytes Premium don't mix.

EDIT: Son of a.... now to this...

For the record, I am quite impressed with Malwarebytes End Point Protection for businesses, but this is the second major issue I've had with their Premium software. I'm about done.

Reading my report, it looks like it's a conflict between Malwarebytes and NordVPN. Not sure if it's just coincidental that right before it happened, my PC updated.

Yesterday I put the SN95 sway bar brackets on, and found out that the links I ordered from RA are the same size as the factory links. They measure them differently than I thought. Then I took the time to remove my smog pump, smog tube, replace the passenger side header gasket, and throw on my X-pipe.

I'm just about to go out and fire mine up fit the first time since fall. Planning to drive it into town later this week. (Of course, it might find its way down the driveway this afternoon.)

So do you need different links, White?
