That looks nicely done AK,

I want to do that to my 2001, the nuts are already there, I just need to find the parts without it costing me a fortune to ship them over to the UK...

Might see if I can do a job lot and try to get the keypad handle for the door at the same time... ???

what plug does your 01 have for the door keypad? 4 or 6 pins. I have both but they are different for Expy and F150's somewhere, because I ended up with both. I haven't found a 98 with a keypad yet, and I don't have the plug in the door behind the speaker, so they are of no use to me. 99 and up yes.

Mechanically, the handles are slightly different between SCAB and SCREW, as well. SCREW-TO-SCAB requires a little trimming of the internal mechanism. I have a post about it somewhere on here.

Linux mint is an easy gui installation and lets you install just about any other free software that you can imagine with the gui. I use the command line at work and when I get home I just want it to work without messing around. Ubuntu or linux mint are the way to go to get started.
I got it installed.... now just running through and doing all of the updates. Also going to install Wine and see how well that works.

Thanks again for directing me this way. It seems a lot more "desktop" and user friendly than RH already.

Found it: https://www.f150forum.com/f6/startin...5/#post6456206

The SCAB handle will likely work in the SCREW as-is, but not the other way 'round.

So not either of the ones you have AK...

Oops, picture is a bit big... lol (and yup, it did still have the grey cover on it)

Anyone have an Apple TV box? I have both Roku TV's and Firesticks for all, but my carrier sent me an Apple TV 4k box today in the mail. Will I gain much from this, or should I just stick with my 50 or 60 apps I've got on my TV. Will I gain anything from the Apple TV box? To me it just seems like a lot of redundancy with all the platforms.
