interesting, I typed in slc earthquake today and earthquake.usgs.gov said a 3.5 but I scrolled farther down and sure enough all the news outlets are saying 5.7. Guess the gov't is too busy with covid-19 than updating their earthquake website lol.

Epicenter is where the squiggly line is. I was where the purple dot is when it hit. My old house is the red dot, new house where the blue dot is. I had driven right past that epicenter an hour before.

As I am typing this... we just got hit with two more.... damn, when will this end? I'm guessing two 4's about a minute apart.

I had just driven past the epicenter about an 70 minutes before...

I've been through a couple of noticeable earthquakes when I was going in and out of Adak and Shemya (Shim-me-a) in the Aleutians. Nothing to the extent you experienced White but what a weird feeling. I was told they measure around 100 earthquakes a day but most are never felt. Best I can compare what I felt to was like being in a building next right next to a fast moving train except there's no noise. After my first one I asked, "What the hell was that?", and after being told a Wave that was smiling said, "I enjoy them." That's what I remember the most. lol

My house is fine... the town that I used to live has the most damage.

Annnnd... now this. Turns out this was the real reason the freeway got shut down.

Just talked to my parents, and they are much closer to the epicenter. They told me they have felt at least 70 total shakes throughout the day.
