SL just got another little one... not word on the number yet. Lots of humorous things going around on FB right now....

On a good note... I did get this today.

As soon as I got my family all accounted for, my thoughts went directly to this, and the rack ^^^ possibly tipping over on it in a quake.

So I did this to keep it from tipping.

Wow Whitey. You guys got a quake? That's our thing up here. Quake central I think it should be called. Hope all is well with you and yours.

I finally got back from Fairbanks today/ Wow, that 375 mile drive each way is starting to take it's toll on me. The roads are like rollercoasters right now. All the frost heaves have the roads all damaged and really some big dips and drops. One more time, probably if I decide to work this summer, otherwise, I'm done with that road. She can fly down to see me. LOL

Here is a weeks worth of Alaska quakes. As you can see, it's an everyday thing here. Most you just don't feel if they are under 4.5 or bigger. The one in November 2018 was 7.1 and damaged roads and things, but most was fixed in 7 days. All the roads were repaired in that time. A couple schools are still down and should be back online next school year. Houston High is still unusable. It got hit damn hard. Hope you guys fair better.

Caught a Ford Credit TV commercial tonight for people hurt by the virus downturn to contact them. Also heard on the news tonight that more than half the restaurants in NYC are closed and expected to never open again. They won't weather the losses. Also on the news that the growth in new confirmed virus cases is exceeding the worst in China, Korea and Italy. Not surprising considering that even this last weekend there was a news network claiming this was all a hoax and that everything is normal and under control while the healthcare professionals were saying otherwise. There was also discussion in Congress about sending every American a check to help carry them. Strange times.
