I have a K&N cone filter on the Mustang, but I don't know what else could feasibly be put on the end of the power pipe in the fender well.

Spoke too soon on those fittings. The one that is especially boogered up... apparently the line is screwy so not sure if it was a custom FORD fitting. The flare is the same size flare as the smaller back left fitting. But the nut is twice the size. No one makes a fitting with a small flare and the massive nut. Went to 3 different custom line shops today. The last one was finally able to just cut the nut off, add a smaller nut, and reflare it. SO right now technically everything will work but it is not the proper fitting nor the proper nut. So in the future if I have to replace that line I will have to go through this all again lol. Oh well spent a day driving around ton going back and forth to shops and I at least can actually hook everything up. Now heres hoping the flare the shop made doesnt leak...

What does the manuals you picked up show for the fittings? Are part numbers given?

They somehow dont show the Bendix Control Valve at all... Only the garrison (which came before the bendix).

I knew that last test was gonna do the K&N in, - worse than thought! What a terrible scam those have been.

WIX, - still as great as they've always been. A product that you truly get your moneys worth...they never cheeped out, been around for as long as I can remember. Yea , 80 years they say.

Not many options there.... I assume you have the cone that is held on with a hose clamp? I have been looking making a setup like the March, but retaining the factory box. My Buddy has the March kit his vert, and he really likes it.

I remember when Autozone had a working display with a comparison of airflow between the K&N and paper and thinking there was crap getting past it. It had a ping pong ball IIRC. Did you Autozone's have those?

Well, well, well... LOL. I guess Youtube just might have everything....

EDIT... I've been looking at these new Channel Lock adjustable wrenches. Any of you fellers have experience with these?

White: Yes, the filter clamps onto the end of the power pipe. There's really no other option with my setup. If you use the standard Vortech parts, it retains the stock air box, but you lose a couple pounds of boost. (Well, you *gain* that with the AFM setup.) you can make it up somewhat by changing pullies, but it's not as efficient that way.

P. S. I remember seeing those test fixtures around as well.

You did say something about there being two different PS systems for the trucks. Might have been a mid-year changeover that missed the manual's publication. Whatever the reason, that sucks as I'm guessing none of the Bendix specs are in the manuals than?

Well being on the front lines here in the Seattle area has been good and bad. Traffic is waaaay down, but everyone is nervous. We have been setting up many ways for our users to work from home.
