I got a message 2 hours after I ordered the hand cleaner, with a tracking number. I'm happy as hell.
2100.... next time mine start making noise, I'm going to make the switch to Expy brakes. Rotors are pads are about the same price as the F150 last time I looked.... then of course, I'll do the booster at the same time.
So the shop that was working on my caliper brackets on the highboy... yeah not happy with. He drilled the hole in the wrong spot and then told me he couldnt redrill it so this is what he sent me home with. 2 washers he grinded down to fit in the groove and a smaller bolt.
I'm not sure what is trying to be accomplished, but it sure looks like an "Oh, crap, how can I make this work without having to buy this guy a new bracket?" fix. ..

Agreed.... My thoughts are that when it's the brake system, there's no room for "Send it: Good enough" though.
If the shop didn't want to buy another bracket why didn't they backfill with weld and re-cut the bracket? From the size of the cut it looks like between the welding and squaring the black back up, a 10 minute job. It's common practice on many performance vehicles to take OEM parts and mill contact or bearing surfaces down and re-weld the parts with a harder rod or wire. The parts are then machined back to specs. Point being, it's done all the time.
My thoughts exactly. Sadly I paid before noticing the hole was off, when I got home I noticed it wasnt going to work. Went today to ask him about it and he said thats all he can do.
River he had already filled the original hole and he said there was a tap broken off in it, not a bolt. He couldnt drill out the tap so he wanted to drill next to it. Instead of going to the left or right it looks like he decided to move away from the end (top to bottom). He now said thats all he can do and that its good enough, quote "it wont go anywhere with that trust me". I am in disbelief and wont be going back to him. Now I just have to see if I have another shop willing to give it a try to fix them seeing as how they are made from unobtanium and I cant find another set (or even just the one side) for sale.
The other side he did fill since someone had drilled a bolt through at a weird angle, and then re drilled and tapped the hole. No way I want to risk my brakes with something like that.
2100,,,,,are you just trying to get the retainer with the 2 slots on it showed in the picture. Is this what you are trying to buy? Are you using single piston calipers or duals on your 75? If singles, H5545 Bendix will fit. If duals,............
