yea all the youtube vidoes showed using a pilot bearing puller... yeah didnt have enough grip stength and kept popping out without actually grabbing it. Then rented a slide hammer with a pilot bearing attachment. Blew out the edges as seen in the pics. needles went flying after a good strike with a sledge on the slide. Finally stuck the benzo torch on it for 5mins then using a small pry bar and sledge to "gently massage" it out from the other end. Wasnt sure there was enough left to hit out but there was just enough.
so how far down should the needle bearing go? Does the seal sit flush with the edge? Neither side had a seal and the bearing was just flush with the spindle.
So in this pic, do i need to hit the bearing down farther until the seal can sit flush with that surface? or is it far enough?
if only you could say whats on your mind! I work with people that email me back and say "cant use this file for import please fix ..." and you know what the problem is? They either need to delete a column or switch two columns.... seriously?! you cant do that yourself? it took you longer to get that email sent than just doing it yourself!
Staples has these on sale for $30, normally $50. I picked one up last year and I use it all the time. Well worth the price. Label rolls are available in a lot of colors for separating\identifying parts and wires to their systems. Label rolls are also available as waterproof, grease, oil and solvent resistant, heavy duty adhesive, metal clad, outdoor and more IIRC. IMO, it's one of the best non-tool tools I've picked up for the garage. It gets used all time. Although this machine doesn't do it, there are machines that will print on heat shrink label rolls they have. I think 3\8ths to 3\4 inch. Thought I'd suggest it when I saw it was on sale.
