I did. It is a really good looking truck. Kinda makes me want to paint my steps to match.

Took a look on e-bay- 17's- are fx's or chrome clad and the prices are higher than a cats back!- most steel 17's listed are 6 lug, locally there are only a handful of 10 gens in the yards, and they dont have wheels on them at all!- i was afraid i was barking up the wrong tree looking for a 17" steelie spare- the thought did cross my mind that they used a 16" with a different tire size, so thats why i asked you guys. There is a couple of yards in C-ville-i guess ill have to be more diligent in my hunt!
I made a new holder out of a stainless steel pipe riser clamp and swaged it on the end of the cable.
It should be good-
Where in Ohio are you zebra?

I was half a mile from it. I'm a student at Ohio State and had some friends that were right there. The picture circulating online of the dead suspect laying on the ground was taken by a close friend in my dorm. Pretty scary stuff

Bear...post a picture of the wheel you want to match. I have 3+ sets of FX4, a set of KR/Expy, a set of 6 of the Crescents, 2 grey steels in 17's. I have a few other aftermarket wheels also for the Gen 10's. If I can help I will.

Is there any truth to the rumor that the 17" rim from the crown vic will fit?- it doesnt seem likely to me, but...

No on the CV. It is a standard 5 on 4.5 (114.3) Ford/Toyota/Nissan/Mopar stock bolt pattern. The trucks are 5x135, but you knew that, but I post this just in case of new people not knowing.

Talking about crown vics, we put a spare set of my Mustang 17 inch GT wheels on his CV. Damn, that car looked really good with the Mustang offset wheels. He's still running those today. I'll try and post a picture of them on the CV for an example. I used my 3rd set of Mustang wheels to put on my Exploder. Tires could of been a couple sizes taller, but they worked fine. The lady I sold it too wouldn't buy it without those wheels, so I had to dump a set I didn't want to get rid of. I still have a set of satins in the same wheel.

Bear when I go to Sutton next week, If you want a stock steel, I'll get a cost to ship to you via Parcel Post. I shipped all my extra wheels that way, and got a full set shipped for 152 via USPS. The wheel won't cost you anything, just the postage, if you want it.

Here is a listing for this wheel in your area. Good luck. You will have to type in your zip again, but it will show you some right down the road from you at 40 or so.
