This is the EGR stuff I found. This is is graph mode. I revved it up a few times just to show the graph moving. Also took a snapshot or two of the device saying it connected and checked the PCM, GEM, IABM, and OBDII.

No problem. I need to try it in the Expy. It looks like it has the ability to switch it into 4WD from my phone... but my truck had a manual t-case. Kind of like a kid sometimes, aren't I? Lol

Used it on the Expy. It doesn't function how I thought it did. I thought that I could activate lights, etc. through the app. However, it just tells you if it is sending signals/power to said lights... or whatever. I did get in and throw some of the other monitors on, just messing around. Also, it gave me a text file of all of my software versions, etc. BTW.... I didn't realize just how BASIC my F150 is until I saw the readout on the Expy.

The info it gave me:

Model: Ford Expedition
Engine: Other
Capacity: 4.6L
Generation: 1998 MY
Fuel: Gasoline
Transmission gear: Automatic

PATS - Passive Anti-Theft System
Bus: PWM
Part number: AA
Software version: v7 1996-06-28

OBDII - On Board Diagnostic II
Bus: PWM

PCM - Powertrain Control Module
Bus: PWM
Part number: F85FTC
Strategy : CPAIBJ7
Copyright Ford Motor Co. 1997

IABM - Integrated Air Bag Module
Bus: ISO
Software version: 1905-05-01

GEM - Generic Electronic Module
Bus: ISO
Part number: AC
Software version: v9 1996-03-06

RAP - Remote Anti-Theft / Personality Module
Bus: ISO
Part number: AA
Software version: v1 1996-11-27

ABS - Antilock braking system
Bus: ISO
Part number: -FFCFFFF-
Software version: v1 1995-10-24

And I took another screen shot of the monitor I ran... albeit only for a short time. (I was revving the motor to make the stuff move, lol)

That program does some nice graphics. Which one did you use White? The trial or the Forscan Lite? Those were the only 2 I could locate on Google PlayStore.

I bought the lite version....

I am thinking that I might resurrect my old XP notebook and get the windows version. I have a USB ELM kicking around somewhere.

A third one that I've been using is called Dash - Drive smarter.

It had the nicest graphic interface but only reads info from the BT transmitter.

It's graphics have changed slightly but here is a screenshot in app:

Anthony.... is this a paid app?

Torque and Forscan also do a "dashboard view", but I like the graph better for what I was monitoring.

Nope, completely free. I see where having graphs come in handy but I just throw this up on the radio tablet and drive away. I'm excited to try forscan when I get home. Looks great!

Well, I finally found a speedometer cluster for replacement. The one in lil Red has a bad gear, so I found a replacement for 25.00 so I bought it. It was within 900 miles of mine so that makes it even easier to swap. Actually I got 2 clusters from the guy for the $25, so I snapped them up. If one of the 97-98 guys need a cluster w tach, I've got a spare now. Actually 2 spares now. I have the gear kit to change the original cluster gears out, just haven't gotten that far yet.

I checked it out last night, and then took all the bulbs out and replaced them all with LED's. I had to be careful to make sure the positive sides were put in correctly so they will work when plugged in. That is the only thing I hate about LED's.
