Great score on the carpet! Your not muding ? If you change your mind, I can probably help you out quite a bit...from my chair anyway lol.

Looks great so far. I didn't catch what type of room (s) your building down there.

I finally worked on the motor for a few minutes today. I put the lifters, keepers, spider, and pushrods in. I put the stamped rockers in temporarily to keep the pushrods in place.... I am leaning towards putting the Stang in a car show Monday, so I don't know if I'll pull the roller rockers off the 5.0 until after that. Also, those valve covers.... are ugly as hell. I need to do something with them.

Ohh... I also swapped the copper header gaskets out for some Percy's gaskets.

Looking good, White.... except for those VC's. Yeah, they's ugly! I'd get them powdered gloss silver if I was doing it. Same for the intake, maybe?

I need to hit up my Buddy that does powder coating to do them for me. I bought some flap discs for my grinder, and I am going to see how those make them look, because these are a spare set. My Buddy with the trans shop just got his hot tank going a couple weeks ago.... might give them a spin in there too.

Brew.... I did the family room, two bedrooms, and a laundry room. When this is done, I will have a bathroom a bedroom, and the utility closet to finish. I made a mini networking wall in the utility closet too, which reminds me that I still need to run one more CAT6 line upstairs. I am running it all through a POE switch now and I gotta say that these AP's are killing it. I have great coverage throughout the house, garage, and the yard.

And the mud and tape.... that's the only thing I hate doing. This guy is a friend of my Brother, so I'll see what he comes in at on his bid. My old next door neighbor is going to get me the number of the people that did their old house, and I'll have them bid it out too.

I am going HVLP the primer and paint, so that will go pretty quick. I am going to use rubber molding and vinyl floor in the laundry room. Also have to make up my patch panel for the laundry room - I have 4 plumbing clean outs just in there.

White, I assume you've already considered that bedrooms in a basement must have egress windows.

Every window is a full size window down there. I have three 60 inch, and one 72 down there. The three bedrooms will be 60 inchers.

****EDIT: My bad, just went and measured the one in the bottom pic. It is 48 X 42. The top one is 72 X 48. The other two windows are an adventure to get to right now, but I am 99% sure those are 60's.

It looks like those window wells are fairly deep, so you might need to.add ladders, but the windows look good for square footage of the opening. When you're done, you'll have to paint a nice mountain scene on the inside of the WW's.

EDIT: The spaces are looking really nice, BTW.

I might just stick a cinder block in there, LOL. It doesn't seem too deep. I climbed in all of them in the spring to clean them out.

I just had some covers made for all of them too.... way too much crap was getting in there. They are all metal and powder coated too.

The carpet guy just left.... said he'll have me a quote within an hour. Soooo.... hopefully it's not too bad, and we'll be done in a few weeks.
