I started out with an Akaso V50 Pro (GoPro knock off), then switched to my Galaxy S10. The Galaxy takes much better video and audio. I asked Matt what he uses for video, and he said they use GoPro's..... so that's what I got. SO hopefully I can get away from holding the camera now, LOL. I need to figure out the audio though... I see a lot of mics in his videos. I should've asked about the audio too, but didn't think to.

I've been looking at these Vice Grips. Just wondering if any of you have tried this version? This could be one of those "looks better than it is" deals. I have a few tools that didn't pan out, LOL.

I thought you already had one lol. Yea Audio must be kind of tricky. Matt and Casey seem to have it down, but there's allot of videos on the tube that suck AFA audio. It's annoying on this side of that lol. Up and down volume mostly.

I don't know what they call it, but there's like a wind cover for the mic. Gets rid of the wind noise, I guess I'd make sure to have one of those on hand.

I know I could use those vs quick clamps in certain situations. Quick clamps aren't always enough and other vice grips and clamps won't always substitute. However, those would work....I like options lol.

Is the engine wiring harnesses from an expedition and an f150 the same? As long as it’s a 5.4?

Efarmer, you will find 2 extra plugs at least in the Expy set up, because of the power steering sensor plug they use. There is another plug in the left front but I don't remember what that was for. You don't need them, so theoretically, it should work.

Not enough info here. 5fours yes, but not just any gen 10 5four. Power distribution is specific to model year, some models are 1/2 year (early and late). They aren't all pinned the same. I'm not sure what you're planning, but you just can't combine model years because they are 5fours. Ford move the wiring (routing) around often.

Brew 2 years ago, one on here did this very swap. His 150 got water damaged when he didn't make it across some creek/river. He had an 01 Expy that was totalled. Both 5.4s. His truck was a 99. He only ran into the 2 extra wiring plugs that he asked about back then. You told him they were the ones for the PS as I did. He swapped the wiring harness and only those 2 plugs on the left were extra. This was just the engine wiring harness assy and computer (also saw water). Truck fired right off, and he is still driving it today. He's on one of the FB pages now. I'll see if I can find his link. It was only a couple responses long.

This is why I said only the 2 plugs were extra.
