Yea, it was like disconnecting the HDMI cable, screen went blank, no hdmi sub. Mimic'ed a hardware problem. Which you know could also be a bad HD and like I said before memory.

Oh man... that sucks. I know a little bit of how you feel. My Wife was dead set on moving to Vermont a couple years ago... said she wanted to pick the next place we live, etc. I don't know anyone, anywhere, anything about, nor do I have any desire to move there. I told her Utah or Colorado are the only two states I want to be in. Eventually, all of that simmered down. I seriously don't ever want to move again, now. Hope this is my final landing spot - unless I score a high paying job , of course. Then I'll buy a house with more property, but that very well could be less than 5 minutes from where I am now.

I rebooted the router last night... twice actually, lol. Accidentally shut it back off when I was putting it all back together. I have something funky going on again. If I walk across the carpet amd generate some static electricity, then I shock the case of my PC, the screen will go black for about 2-3 seconds, then come back on. This happened before, and I took it out and blew all of the dust out of it, and that - or moving something around inside of the case, made it stop. Now that I just added another 4TB HDD, I've had it apart again, so I've obviously created a "disturbance in the force". Need to figure out what the hell it is.

 

Yeah, I think he's a fake all together. AK found his FB page, and it was loaded with Chevy crap. I think he's pulling our legs.

 

Damn, your employer doesn't give you a paid holiday today? That sucks. My Buddy that lives down the street has to work 10 hours today too.... he drives a garbage truck for commercial accounts. Gotta say, I feel bad for him.

 

Ah I saw ak found his page, didn't see the Chevy crap.... anywho I reported it again and asked the mods to warn him about using multiple usernames and the same topics with different titles.... almost reminds me of that immature little green or greenie or whatever his name was I couldn't wait till he moved on

Yeah, these impatient bastards act like this all anyone does all day, and we're all getting paid for it - and they are paying too. I need to make a "do not help" list. The skylar askhole was the same way. Said everyone on "these forums" didn't know what they were talking about, so he was going to find someone who does. Guess he never found anyone, because he's got a lot more questions.

 

Nice to see Brew popping back in after a small hiatias. What's this stuff about moving to another country. Pick one that isn't mad at the US. That should make it easy, as the list is very short right now. lol

I finally washed Sonya (my Mustang) today for the first time since last fall. She's only had 400 miles up on her so far, but now with the new tires, a wash job, and NEW Nano wax, she shines like a full moon. As soon as I got done, it started raining. I got a chance to see the water just run off the metal. Now we'll see how it looks tomorrow in the sunshine after this shower. I've got my fingers crossed.. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing.
