I've been intrigued by them since I was a kid. Popular Mechanics published an article and plan drawings for a DIY stick-built one back in the 70's that really caught my interest. Of course being about 10 years old, I didn't have the means to persue it.

That's about the same time I first heard about them. I didn't know much about flying and still don't but what I'd always heard about was how much it costs to become a pilot. Then to progress in to larger planes going through the whole process begins again and again and this doesn't include the costs associated with owning a plane. As a hobby flying is out of the question then the ultralights come along without all the daunting rules\laws and flying is possible for most people. I'm surprised there aren't more of them around.

E-rated sidewalls are pretty stiff.

Yeah, I realized that when I went to post it. But, nope. Only about an inch of rubber was on the curb, if that.

Hey Guys. I'm pretty sure it was here you were talking about electric pressure washers some time back. I tried scrolling through the 11,000 + posts but did not find it. Was there a consensus on a good one? I tried the HF one and it is of course it is crap to no one's surprise.

Karcher is good for an electric. I have one and a Campbell Hausfeld and the Karcher is much better.
