Ouch! AK!- that had to be a sizable leak to drain out the crankcase- i would have thought you would have seen drippage before now. i think i would do an oil change( whats left is probably toast anyway)- put in the required amount, then check the level with the dipstick- if its wrong, you may have the wrong length tube/stick. if its right, and tightening the cover bolts dont cure it, then.... but even at that, i would think you would notice smoke from the tail pipe if it was an internal/pcv issue...
In the “unusual” category- if the drain back holes are plugged, and filling the cam covers, that might explain the lack of oil in the crankcase( although they wouldnt hold all 6 qts. i wouldnt think) and extra oil in the covers would exacerbate any leakage.
Dude, thank you for asking, but im sure by now, you have come to the same conclusion- you know this stuff better than most of us. Good luck and good hunting.

I think you're absolutely right, Adrian. That (lack of) sentence structure is not AK, unless he's had a few? LOL.

Yeah, definitely thinking that's the FB post. I guess this had him preoccupied all day yesterday, and why he didn't come tell me and 2100 to go ^&*% ourselves again.

Sorry guys IF I confused you. This is what he (Skylar) posted yesterday on one of the facebook GEN 10 sites. This was not me. LOL

I just wanted to show how he's all over the map right now, asking the same questions, no matter where he is posting.

I won't answer his questions, but I will copy and paste his questions. LOL

I guess I have to be glad that my friends are making sure I'm good. Thanks guys. It feels good to be noticed, no matter the reason. LOL

I've been so freaking lazy this week, that I haven't done anything other than rake 2 bags of leaves. I haven't touched Red or even Sonya my Mustang. I did manage to help a guy out with a bunch of take off parts for his Mustang yesterday though. I gave him a GT grille, upper and lower, 2 headlights, and taillights and a stripe kit for 75. If I didn't I'd have that stuff sitting around for ever still. He got a deal, and I have a corner, though small, I have a corner to store more crap. LOL

Since nothing is on TV today (racing etc), why not go out and see if the right door actuator is what is causing a draw on Red's battery. I took the cable off and found a 2.8 amp draw. It was coming from the door circuit, and I have a tight door panel where the lock rod goes, so I believe it is holding power, as it's in between, probably holding the power open. I'll find out this pm. A NCIS LA episode is on that I never saw, so I'll finish watching it then go do some testing. It seems nicer out today than it's been this whole week past. Damn, I am getting really lazy. LOL

LOL.... you rock AK. Love that you need to watch NCIS first...

I've been watching Monk again. Also going to start Diagnosis Murder again.

So.... just a quick question for you fellers... if you were me, would you cut the box to replace the blend door, or tear the whole dash apart? I have both doors.... but I think I'll use the cut in door no matter what. I like the metal stub on it better.

I've been helping the FIL put up porch railing and a bottom skirt.... it's hot and muggy here. I'm just day dreaming about all the work I could be doing on the Highboy lol
