I dont know Denso and NGK's numbering system. I am wondering if those were too hot. It runs absolutely perfect as it sits. I put NGK's in it. Although Denso is Toyota's primary supplier, these actually came with NGK plugs and Denso coils.

I need to find out if the plugs I had were too hot, and if the plugs I put in it are lower.

Just got back from my Buddy's house. He hadn't done much with the 3V since I went over last and found the wiring harness issue. He somehow popped a couple fuses, so I found those and replaced them. Got it started and it was missing.... found a coil that wasn't plugged in. And now it runs like a dream.

OK, I went from DENSO Iridium IK16 to a NGK 5464 BKR5EIX-11 plug.

Sooo.... I think I will be getting new plugs again, LOL

However, both of them are within the Toyota spec'd heat range.

Tried to check the FP last night.... but there is no schrader valve. I gotta pull a damn hose off and tap into it. My FP tester does not have a T like this, so I hafta get tricky somehow.

Look at this BS.....

That BKR5EIX-11 plug is at the very end of the hot range. I think after seeing your take outs, that I would go to a BKR6EIX-11 NGK heat range plug.

Blue got his new windshield this morning. After 9 years, it's nice to see clearly all around. LOL.

Speaking of windshields, any of y'all have an idea on how to clean my windshield? I get this blurry haze ONLY on the driver side and only when it's foggy or light rain. Heavy rain, or sunny says the windshield is crystal clear. I've tried everything I can think of to clean it.

Have you tried 90% isopropyl alcohol?

If the rubbing alcohol doesn't work, you could always get a bottle of Jack and forget it for that night. LOL Been there, Done that.

The new w/s cleaner on ebay seems to work wonders. It was great on her Fusion. Damn if I remember the silly name. I'll post it when I get home

It's hard to tell in your pictures but if the "splotches" across the top of the windshield in the top picture are what you're referring to it looks like your safety glass is delaminating from the plastic sheet between the glass panes. If that is what it is and you're getting moisture in there, there is nothing you can do but replace the windshield. One of the sheets is sweating like a can of cold beer on a warm day. For scratches there's a lot of products available. I used some NAPA stuff years ago that was like different grades of rubbing compound that was buffed in and it worked great. Took some time but it worked. Couldn't tell anything was ever wrong with the glass. That was in the 70's so there's probably better and faster products available today.

Soooo.... I bought a kit with all new mounting hardware for this hood scoop... and a couple holes are too big. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I can fill it with - then re-tap the holes? Maybe an Epoxy?

TIA
