I haven't tried the print to PDF. I'm not sure what it will do ATT. I can print from the Emanual directly but there are some, I guess you would call organizational problems with doing it. The standard format is in text with figures, charts, pictures, etc. in highlighted titles to click on. The graphics don't show up with the text. There's also a layout issue where for example an engine topic will show up under emissions, mechanical, specs and maintenance. If I choose to print something out that apparently is located in different areas of the program everything in between is in the print. What may be 2 or 3 pages on screen turns out to be 50 pages in the print file. For example, the "Rear Axle Interchange" post (which is where this all started.) The manual is for the 99, F150 but it's actually 10th gen plus. There's a chart of all the axles used with specs and includes all the F trucks along with all the axle manufacturers. What appears as a couple of pages on screen turns out to be 20 some pages. I thought I'd post the chart for the OP but I couldn't just cut and paste. Print to file became an issue of text and graphics, Word Pad and Paint. The text wasn't bad but in paint I had a mess. What looked fine on the screen became a size problem in paint. Enlarge some things to fit the file I'm trying to put together and it becomes distorted. Shrink it to readable and it becomes a small graphic. Hope I'm making sense with all of this but I just got aggravated and gave up. I'm computer savvy until something doesn't work as expected and then it's all trial and error. That can get scary. There have been times I did things I had no idea how to undo and ended up reloading Windows or other programs.

I haven't loaded the Google app because I don't use Chrome. I read the reviews of the app and half the people said it's great and the other half said it didn't work at all for them or the app would only work in some of the programs. I don't want to switch to Chrome to find out it's not working for me. From what I've found out, once you put Chrome on you can't take it off. Same thing happened with Mcafee and Norton. My laptop came with the Mcafee but I had Norton. I went through the remove process for Mcafee and it's nowhere to be found in file explorer but I can see in the event viewer that Mcafee is accessing my computer and I'm sending them files pretty much daily. I suppose I'm off on my own tangent now but again, I hope I'm making sense to people that know more about computers than me.

I feel your pain. We use Salesforce to generate orders, and until they get better exports, I'd like to print/PDF a page, but get only part of the page on one sheet, and that's it.

If so, which one(s) do you recommend?

River, I don't know who told you that you can't remove Chrome, but that is inaccurate information. But then again, I don't know why you would want to remove it. What are you using for a browser? That extension is also available for FF. I don't know about Edge (aka Chrome Download tool).

Ohio... never used one of those wristbands. I see the picture has it holding sheetrock screws. Quit honestly, after just finishing my sheetrock in the family room, I don't feel that would be handy at all. Most of the time I only had one free hand. Just looking at that, I am envisioning needing both hands free, or being a contortionist for that to be helpful. Most of the time I was holding the sheetrock with my left hand, holding the drill between my legs, and the sheetrock screws in my mouth.

That experience also led me to the knowledge that Grabber brand screws are coated with oil, and Grip-Rite screws are not.

funny that we were talking about pdfs and stuff. Last night I got my evening call from my GF, when she wanted to know how to add information to a pdf form right after we were discussing this yesterday.

Since she is using Chrome, I had her download PDFfiller as an extension. She had some difficulty with her machine since she uses passwords for each different action. It's a pain in the butt, so hopefully she just goes to a single, master password. Jumping from one screen to another, using administrator applications is ridiculous as hell for a home laptop, JMO.

Anyways that program, free on Chrome and 25. on others worked beautifully. She did all 4 pages of information quickly and it kept the arguing to a minimum., lol. I find it to be a very good, inexpensive source. Just thought I would throw that out there too. Anything to make our lives easier, I say.

Hahahaha!

Yeah, there's a few times I've thought something like that would be handy, but not always. Up on a ladder, mounting my Wx station would have been one.

They are working on finishing up Red today. I looked at the take out engine and was absolutely surprised that there was hardly any dirt or oil on it. Other than the rear main leak, the sides of the block were dry and fairly clear. I know how these engines right side can leak from a casting burr, but this was dry as hell. Color me in shock.

Well that's good to hear, AK. I was just wondering if there was any progress made yet. Do you have to turn the old motor in for a core?

Anybody have thoughts/opinions on a pressure washer? Looking to probably go with a gas washer.
