Looks great, 2100.
When I did the blocks in back, my new u-bolts were way too long, too. I just installed the nuts, then zipped off the excess with a cut off wheel. Yours are not what I'd call "too long," though.

Hi Guys,

Thought I would ask in here since this is where the sensible answers are normally found...

A couple of times today, the truck unlocked fine but when I went to start it it was dead, a quick wiggle of the fusible link and everything burst back into life

Since I'm in the UK, and these links are not used very much over here, (& I've never replaced anything like this before...) what size are they or is there an easier way to fix it?

I have done a search on here but, of the ones I looked at, none really went into replacing them.

Cheers

Adrian.

I don't have my truck with me, but I am pretty sure they are 175 amp.

Sorry White, not that one...

I'm referring to the 2 small wires linked into the battery positive cable, they live in the long black box next to the battery

I'll try to get a photo later

Not sure, hopefully it is what we need, buying & shipping to the UK is expensive if I get it wrong... (don't ask how I know...lol)

These are a couple of pics I just went out to take (not sure why it has rotated them.... ) just to be sure

I just logged in to post this pic of the harness from my '99. I've never opened that box. If you can't figure it out, and or can't get the right thing, let me know.

Thanks Ohio

Looking around, everyone seems to be out of stock...
(but I have sent a couple of email enquiries)

Does anyone know the wire value of the fusible links, I'm thinking it might be easier to buy a reel of the correct size fuse wire & just replace that part of it

I've found a YouTube video of someone doing it on a different vehicle and whilst fiddly, it does look do-able
