If you know Fox Body's you will notice one glaring issue here. The subframe ends at the shock tower. They've cut it out for some reason, and it doesn't look like a fitment issue to me. I see a custom K-member under there.

I can't seem to find the article where I read the weight.... and I want to say it was 550 pounds. That is only a little over what the 351 weighs.

The problem they are going to have is keeping 475 lb feet of torque against the pavement.
I've read a couple of build stories from places like MMR, Roush and Watson where Ford is involved in their development of aftermarket parts. Getting engines from Ford is often mentioned.

I noticed the shock tower also. The front of the towers have been painted so it's hard to tell if they've been modified or not but usually the entire tower is modified. Seeing the front suspension installed will add a lot of information. Regardless, that K member is for going straight.

There's really no problem keeping 475 lb ft of torque against the pavement. Doing it with traction is where problems start.

I never saw these pics of how the engine came from Ford. Complete from pan to the water pump to valve covers. I get him back tomorrow. These pics were from before it was installed. I'm quite surprised at how welll set up it was from Ford Evan came with the exhaust studs

Interesting note on the PCV valve. Looks like Ford knows the aftermarket PCV valves are junk too.

0W20? A KY product for an engine? Did that pruddy engine come with a box of new car smell? How much time are you going to get to spend with it before the snow falls up there?

that's not my oil. I have Amazon basic 5w20 as the new engi9ne states on the oil cap, plus a MC oil filter Tag on sid says to use synthetic oil for break Rivers..... the snow is second nature to us, so when it's time for it, Red will be ready. I may swap the FX4's back for the winter with the Hakkappalitta's to go play around this winter. LOL

a lot of imports, especially Subaru, use the 0-20w, I have 5gals of Subbie oil from their 250 gal containers. My neighbor bought 4 containers, all still had new Sub oil or final drive fluids in them. I also got 4 gals of their t/case fluids.
