Went ahead and bought the Eastwood flaring tool for 3/16" line. Tired of dealing with the crappy rental ones. It was $50 but looks like I'll have perfect flares every time. Oh and I can use in on the vehicle too. I couldn't bring myself to spend $200 on their hydraulic one knowing I probably won't use it again for some time. This one should do just fine. Just gotta wait for it to ship.

Oh and AK bought those hydraulic clips. AZ only had a 25 pack so for $2 I now have 24 spare LOL

Huh, not sure, changed my mind, them thar are steel pistons. There's a lot meat left on them, revised to 50 fireworks miles. Curious how high the sparks will fly lol.

Glad the thread was helpful, White. Some of the info doesn't apply for you, being Fox to Fox. (Not getting the corner comment, though?)

AK: what the heck is going on up there?

not a whole lot of places to take a stolen vehicle in Alaska lol you'd end up stealing it from someone and trying to sell it to his friend or family.

Unless chop shops are big up there?

By pissing in the corner, I meant that I replied to your thread on the corral.

I've been messing around with how I am going to do the ECT/heater hose "tee". This is what I have, but I think it look like crap. I have 3 heater pipes from Explorers in the shop, so I think I am going to sacrifice one by cutting it, then double flaring the pipe for the hose. I hope my flaring tool will do 5/8" pipe, LOL.

Well, you can do it there or T the coolant line. Doesn't WATTS have a better T config? I know Ford does for the 150 manifold, but the by -pass reduces to 1/4"....it's new , they came out with it a short time ago. If I was going for looks I would search for a better T . Perhaps Parker has one.

Those fitting aren't tight yet correct ? Nah, I don't see any 567 on them yet lol.

There's got to be someone who's machined a proper T out there by now. The WATTS method is the old old way.

No.... just hand tight in there, lol. So they will suck in a bit.

This is what I would like to find.... there was a guy making these on moddedmustangs, but he has not logged on for 3 years.... so I doubt he's still around. But as you can see, it is a MUCH cleaner look. I also think he may have been making them from these:
