I am trying to figure out which wire is for illumination.

I am guessing by process of elimination I can find it. I don't even know if my truck was wired for it..... but all the other door switches illuminate.

I also want to get the switches on the wheel to illuminate. (like my Expy)

No problem.

Looking at the switch and the wiring, there is NO light in this unit. I'm not remembering any lit pm switches, other than Navigators, and I think they are 03 and up.

 

My 98 Expedition's are lit.

 

Well I guess someone needed the gas in my truck more than I did. Still can't figure out how they did it. They must have punctured that filler neck sock screen, but they emptied her. First time that's happened to me.

JB...sorry to hear you got scalped. At least they didn't pop a hole in your tank to drain it.

White.....I just went thru both the 150 and Expedition wiring charts and don't see a dedicated line for the light, so if there is one, it has to be off the courtesy line.

 

Do you mean for the mirror switch or the CC switches?

I just went out and checked Blue and the cc lights and power window switches light up. The mirror does not on my truck. Lil Red is the exact same and it is a Lariat trim. At least you got me off my butt to go check.
