Lol I may have to deal with some rust if I get a new truck. The one I want I'm gonna have to travel a little bit to get and it may have rust

If the rebuild kits are cheap and you get a cheap junkyard trans I'd try it just to see if I could, as long as I didn't need a trans anytime soon.

My Rockers are in the rafters, still need to get them on. Other than that I cut out what was left.

Check and check. You could probably be into the whole deal 500 bucks plus a converter. I highly recommend doing a shift kit such as the J-mod.

Luckily on my Expy my Buddy had one sitting there so the whole kit and kaboodle took us about 2 hours. Some of which was gawking at the Romeo head gasket leak, lol.

500 bucks isn't bad at all and if it turns out I don't need it I can probably sell it for way more than 500

The local junk yard wants 200 for a transmission that might already be blown no thank you ill get one elsewhere

Dang, I didn't know you can fix tensioner springs with a mig. What sucks is, I ordered new ones already lol. Perhaps I should say, I didn't know I could lol.
