I'm still on the shift kit. Truck wouldn't budge @ 185,000 miles. Crazy tuner Troyer talked me into a shift kit after I had a new trans lined up. 330,000 miles now, best 100 bucks I ever spent. The new trans was 800.00.
Mine is still running strong but it only has 100k on it. I just wanna get my hands dirty again lol what would the shift kit fix if something was wrong?

Mine had much more hair on it from what I recall. Reminded me of one of those Chia pet things.

Laid it all out and cleaned it. Valve bodys/accumulator were full of clutch material. Replaced all the pistons. Wanted to wheel and hone, but went with a chemical clean. It worked.

Also what are tenth gens going for in your part of the state? I got a few 7k offers and I'm thinking I should take it and run

I Mean I'm not saying it looked super easy but it definitely wasn't as hard as I thought.
Everything in the state of Virginia is expensive except old F150's. The Local Dodge dealer wanted $8k for a monster lifted 01 but if I paid cash on the spot he'd "let me have it" for $6800, lol. The thing was an atrocious white beast but I guess Lifts have value.

The only two things wrong with my under 200k mile truck was the paint and the torn drivers seat; I paid $4k or $4500, I'm not sure anymore.

Hmm I'm thinking I should take the next 7k offer lol there's really nothing wrong with mine, fully loaded Lariat for its year with just one scratch in the drivers Door that's barley noticeable and the seats are torn but there is covers on the front so you can't see it.
