haha.

oh, Charlie. you forgot to add clogged injectors and bad injectors to your list.

Im currently waiting for my 6 Bosch 19# 4-hole injectors to come in the mail that I ordered last night for my jeep, so I can hopefully finally be able to drive it again.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the old mismatched injectors though, they're pretty rough looking and I don't know which ones are worth anything at all, probably none by the way they look.
Well back when my intake manifold cracked I thought it was a bad head gasket so I went to the junk yard and pulled the head off a 5.4 so I new what I was getting into but it just turned out being the intake manifold. Then me and a buddy pulled the turbo off A 90s Volvo cause he was turbo charging his i5 golf and it was a nice day so we just torn down the rest of the top half of the engine just for something to do

It was cool. Pulling that turbo off the Volvo was a pain in the dick. He got everything together to turbo the golf and got the intercooler mounted, then he sold it so he never finished that project. He has a 350z now with a built engine and running 75 shot. The junk yard here is always selling 2 valves for dirt cheap. Less than 200 for a complete long block. Normally around 150

Southern Virginia. I got a quote for a 5.4 with the oil pan missing and a valve cover and cam shaft missing for 150. I passed at the time cause I didn't have the money to build the engine. They arnt new long blocks or anything and most of the time they arnt 100% complete and have problems but most of the stuff is there. It's the engines they pull out of the totaled vehicles in the yard

woah woah woah, Name this place!

The only Ford specific place I know is Johnson's but they want $350 +core for rebuildable and $1800 for running 4v's.

Johnsons Mustang and truck? That's the place I'm talking about lol unless the guy told me he would sell me the 2v sitting right outside there building for 150 plus core charge. I went and checked it out and it was just missing that cam, the valve cover, and the oil pan. I mean it was a no running engine missing some parts I thought 150 was a pretty good and reasonable price. He said there was nothing else wrong with it as far as they new. Idk maybe he was just messing with me or something. I would assume that a 4v would be a good bit more than a 2v tho. His prices also drop the more you go in there. I'm in there a good bit so they know my face and I feel like the are more reasonable on the price for some things

The local yard here is $159 for any v8 with a $50 core. Too bad they never have diesels, I could make some money lol
