The way I always understood it, I'm safe with 19's for now. Not a whole lot of power up top, but it's likable down low lol. There good for a little over 250 FWHP @85% dc, 40 psi at the rail. I might be pushing 220 rwhp so I have some elbow room.
I've seen these trucks just with bolt ons PI swaps make 260 rwhp. Well just the 97/98, 99 plus won't make that much without more engine work. I'd bump up to 24's at that point. If I PI swapped.
Larger injectors aren't an upgrade unless you can use it.

They won't do much for you now, but if you want to replace injectors anyways and already have a tuner might as well shoot for them in case one day you decide you want to do some mods. I bought the 24s simply because I'm doing enough right now to be pushing 19s and unfortunately not enough for 42s lol.

And yea, 42's would would be unnecessary lol. Shoot the first 10th gen SVT's used Ford blue 39's.
Me to lol
That's what I was thinking to lol
Just out of curiosity, how much power do you think a fully built NA 5.4 would put down? Like higher compression, cammed, injectors, MAF, maybe TB, full exhaust, some head porting

Minus the high compression because I have no freaking clue, I'd have to guess in the 310-340range. We'll know for sure soon because mine will be on the dyno for ****s and giggles lol. At the crank, not the wheels
