Thinking about making my own CAI. The Volant intake looks nice but it's $240 for pretty much just a pipe. Silicon intakes sells stuff to make your own CAI so I may do that can come out $175 dollars cheaper

Lol I'm hoping the junk yard I got to has one. It's on the way to campus, but school doesn't start till the 22nd of next month so I probably won't go out that way until then. I did find a few on eBay but people wanted Close to $200 for them. I'm hoping to get the intake, throttle body elbow, and Throttle body for less than $100

Yea, that's just a waste of cash, nothing to gain. Plenty of air coming in for a close to original build.

Just smooth the flow with a much less turbulent intake tube (if you haven't already) and buzz off the Ford Fly Paper in the throttle body. You'll be golden...

What's the matter with you, get away from those puny TB's, focus on getting blown..you know, chief priority #1.
